Supporting Reverts and New Muslims in the Faith to reach out and access others Believers

*People new to Islam are not getting the support to grow and excel in their faith.

1.2 As Muslims, we have the responsibility to help new Muslims integrate within our respective communities.

Islam is the fastest-growing religion in the world.

An increasing number of people accept the message of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and are joining the religion in large numbers.

1.2 "Humankind was one single Ummah (Community). And God sent messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Scriptures in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed…" (Quran 2:213)

"To every Ummah (was sent) a messenger…" (Quran 16:36)

1.2 *Prophet Muhammad was sent to nurture an Ummah for the benefit of humanity, one designed to include all of humankind. He was commanded by God to transmit a divine message; both a guidance and a warning to all. And in the Quran God refers to the Ummah of Muhammad as the best community.

"You are the best community (Ummah) raised up for (the benefit of) humanity; enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong and believing in God…" (Quran 3:110)

Want to Help a Revert stay connected to Iman and Ummah Not Sure How?

1.1 *Common experience……. “One of the challenges I’ve noticed since becoming Muslim is knowing how to balance my culture and background with what’s “acceptable” to mainstream Muslim culture in society – it can be difficult and confusing for both converts like myself and for other Muslims who don’t really know how to “deal” with us, but I think the best thing to do from both sides is to accept our differences, recognize that everyone is on a learning curve, and come together for our shared love of Allah even if there are some different ways of practicing this belief.”
